1 Review:

DEVIL'S DUE is one of those shaky, malfunctioning cam, random scenes put together to kind of make a movie, things. It was far more silly than scary. The shaky camera could make you nauseous like BLAIR WITCH, which it heavily copies. Also heavily rips off CHRONICLE in both content and style. Finally, of course, it massively rips off THE OMEN and ROSEMARY'S BABY. With all that as a given, it was mildly entertaining in the background.

2 Review:

Derivative and no more entertaining than sneezing, Devil's Due at least offers some humor in its Third Act, when the central character, in the midst of a crisis, stops to strap on his personal, albeit cumbersome, video camera, without which he surely would not be able to compete with the likes of Paranormal Activity.

3 Review:

Scary found footage combination with echos of Rosemary's Baby but falls flat on its face once the bigger budget SFX get going. Some suspense but borrows mercilessly from Paranormal Activity and the like. A couple on their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic get drunk and are taken to a special party and wake up the next morning with no memory of the night before. When they get home she announces she is pregnant and slowly becomes possessed by the child she is carrying...of course there is a circle of interested neighbours. Enough said. Watch Rosemary's Baby or Paranormal Activity instead.
